About the Design:
"Embrace" is an innovative project featuring an interactive Arduino prototype developed by a group of master's students in Interactive Media Design at Södertörn University.
This unique flower pot is designed to enhance the presence of plants in their environment, fostering a deeper connection between users and nature. Equipped with touch sensors, it encourages user interaction and features warm, informative ambient lighting that activates during watering rituals. This thoughtful design creates a more engaging and immersive experience for plant care.

We have two months to move from ideation to launch, during which we must create an interactive prototype for an exhibition focused on sustainability. Our exploration of global urban green projects revealed that many sustainable initiatives are hindered by government regulations and funding limitations. This insight inspired us to develop a solution that encourages urban sustainability through individual daily practices.
